The project was a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study, a questionnaire was carried out for the evaluation of stress, designed to evaluate symptoms revealing of the presence of stress reactions, distributed in four main categories: Physiological symptoms, Social behavior symptoms, Intellectual and occupational symptoms and Psycho-emotional symptoms, in the population described above. In the results obtained, it was found that the majority of the people surveyed are female, the most frequent age group was 25 to 30 years old and they live in Buga and Tuluá. The physiological symptoms presented by the surveyed personnel are: neck pain or muscle tension, headache, sleep disorders and gastrointestinal problems. With regard to social behavior symptoms, the surveyed personnel have difficulty in family relationships, and to remain still or start activities. Regarding the intellectual and work symptoms, they sometimes have feelings of work overload, difficulty concentrating and tiredness, boredom or listlessness.El presente trabajo contiene la descripción y análisis de información acerca de los síntomas reveladores del estrés laboral en enfermeros egresados de la Unidad Central del Valle del Cauca en el Hospital de San José de Buga, 2020. Fue un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, de corte transversal, se realizó un cuestionario para la evaluación del estrés, diseñado para evaluar síntomas reveladores de la presencia de reacciones de estrés, distribuidos en cuatro categorías principales: Síntomas fisiológicos, Síntomas de comportamiento social, Síntomas intelectuales y laborales y Síntomas psicoemocional, en la población antes descrita. En los resultados obtenidos se encontró que la mayoría de las personas encuestadas son de género femenino, el grupo de edad más frecuente fue de 25 a 30 años y viven en Buga y Tuluá. Los síntomas fisiológicos que presenta el personal encuestado son: dolores en el cuello o tensión muscular, dolor de cabeza, trastornos del sueño y problemas gastrointestinales. Con respecto a los síntomas comportamiento social, el personal encuestado tiene dificultad en las relaciones familiares, y para permanecer quieto o iniciar actividades. En cuanto a los síntomas intelectuales y laborales, a veces tienen sentimientos de sobrecarga de trabajo, dificultad para concentrarse y cansancio, tedio o desgano.1. INTRODUCCIÓN / 2.
