| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio analiza las percepciones de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas, Económicas y Contables (FACAEC) de la Unidad Central del Valle del Cauca (UCEVA) frente a la implementación del Sistema de Articulación Institucional del Currículo Integrado (SAICI). Este modelo busca integrar conocimientos, fomentar competencias transversales y fortalecer la preparación profesional. Se empleó un enfoque cualitativo con diseño de estudio de caso, recolectando datos mediante cuestionarios cerrados y abiertos, así como diarios de campo. La muestra incluyó estudiantes de los programas de Administración de Empresas, Contaduría Pública y Comercio Internacional. Los resultados destacan la necesidad de ajustes en los instrumentos de articulación, una mayor comunicación entre docentes y un mejor alineamiento con el modelo pedagógico integrador. Aunque los estudiantes valoraron el SAICI como una herramienta que potencia el aprendizaje autónomo y la práctica profesional, también manifestaron desafíos relacionados con la carga académica y la claridad de los objetivos. Este estudio proporciona información valiosa para optimizar el diseño y la implementación del SAICI, contribuyendo al desarrollo de estrategias educativas más efectivas y alineadas con las necesidades de los estudiantes. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The present study analyzes the perceptions of students from the Faculty of Administrative, Economic, and Accounting Sciences (FACAEC) at the Unidad Central del Valle del Cauca (UCEVA) regarding the implementation of the Institutional Integrated Curriculum Articulation System (SAICI). This model aims to integrate knowledge, foster cross-curricular competencies, and strengthen professional preparation. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing a case study design and collecting data through closed- and open-ended questionnaires, as well as field journals. The sample consisted of students from the Business Administration, Public Accounting, and International Trade programs. The results highlight the need for adjustments to the articulation instruments, improved communication among instructors, and better alignment with the integrative pedagogical model. While students recognized SAICI as a tool that enhances autonomous learning and professional practice, they also reported challenges related to academic workload and unclear objectives. This study provides valuable insights for optimizing SAICI's design and implementation, contributing to the development of more effective educational strategies aligned with students' needs. | eng |
