Conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas del cuidador en el tratamiento farmacológico en pacientes con trastorno mixto de depresión y ansiedad en la unidad de salud mental del Hospital Divino Niño de Buga, Valle del Cauca Período 2015-2016

Abstract

In the world, approximately 450 million persons suffer from a mental disorder or from the behavior, but only one small minority receives the most elementary treatment. The target of the study was to Identify knowledge, attitudes and practices of 20 patients' minders with mixed disorder of anxiety - depression of the Unit of Mental health of the Divino Niño de Buga Hospital. This investigation this investigation took as a design a descriptive quantitative study of transverse type by means of a semistructured survey of 33 items of sociodemographic aspects, knowledge, practices and attitudes of the participants, adapted of the test of Morinski-Green Levine, The test of Hermes, and the Carranza test; in the results I am demonstrated: CHARACTERIZATION sociodemographic: most of minders correspond to women of medium-sized age, mistresses of house, of socioeconomic stratum II, with incomplete secondary studies and familiar tie of the first grade. KNOWLEDGE: 80 % of the minders is notqualified. PRACTICES: 80 % of the minders contributes in the continuity of the treatment, offering the medicines in thestated hours and without interruptions; and ATTITUDES: 85 % of the minders requests help relatives or friends. It is possible to conclude that The patients' minders with the above mentioned disorder need accompaniment and active education that offers to them useful hardware for the care, achieving this way an ideal contribution in the treatment and control of the individual needs of every patient. En el mundo, aproximadamente 450 millones de personas padecen de un trastorno mental o del comportamiento, pero sólo una pequeña minoría recibe el tratamiento más elemental. 2 El objetivo del estudio fue Identificar conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de 20 cuidadores de pacientes con trastorno mixto de ansiedad-depresión de la Unidad de Salud Mental del Hospital Divino Niño de Buga; esta investigación tuvo como diseño un estudio cuantitativo descriptivo de tipo transversal por medio de una encuesta semiestructurada de 33 ítems sobre aspectos sociodemográficos, conocimientos, prácticas y actitudes de los participantes, adaptada del test de Morinski-Green-Levine, el test de Hermes, y el test de Carranza; en los resultados se evidencio: CARACTERIZACIÓN SOCIODEMOGRÁFICA, la mayoría de cuidadores corresponden a mujeres de mediana edad, amas de casa, de estrato socioeconómico II, con estudios secundarios incompletos y vínculo familiar de primer grado. CONOCIMIENTO: 80% de los cuidadores no se encuentran capacitados. PRACTICAS: 80% de los cuidadores contribuyen en la continuidad del tratamiento, ofreciendo los fármacos en horas indicadas y sin interrupciones; y ACTITUDES: 85% de los cuidadores solicitan ayuda a familiares o amigos. Se puede concluir que Los cuidadores de pacientes con dicho trastorno requieren acompañamiento y educación activa que les brinde herramientas útiles para el cuidado, logrando así una óptima contribución en el tratamiento y control de las necesidades individuales de cada paciente.
