Estrategias de afrontamiento adoptadas ante el cáncer de seno presente en mujeres diagnosticadas en Colombia

Abstract

The research aims to establish the psychosocial impact caused by the level of effectiveness of the coping strategies used to deal with breast cancer present in women diagnosed in Colombia during the last three years, for which they identify the coping strategies that more are used to face this type of chronic disease, likewise, the factors that most influence the effective development of coping strategies are addressed in a timely manner, in the same way the main incidents that have arisen around the current scenario are exposed in relation to the evolution of the cases of women diagnosed with breast cancer. The methodology that guided the development of the research is exploratory, inquiring about aspects that are of importance for the development of coping strategies that contribute to mitigating the impact caused by breast cancer present in women diagnosed in Colombia, based on qualitative, for which is carried out a bibliographic review in databases such as: Redalyc, Dialnet, Scielo. The prevalence and incidence of breast cancer that affects women in Colombia has tended to increase the number of cases and the morbidity rate. Among the coping strategies that has caused the most effectiveness in patients, it has been established that they are those that address conceptions of a religious nature. On the other hand, one of the factors that most affect this type of patient has been the lack of guarantees in the health system, in which a more effective legal framework to guarantee care for this population has not yet been adopted. ha In fact, the incidence rate towards 2018 was 63.9 cases per 100,000 people. Finally, it is concluded that it is necessary to join efforts in favor of promoting a more comprehensive care that guarantees greater coverage in the face of the high demand for cases that are being diagnosed period after period. La investigación tiene como objeto establecer el impacto psicosocial causado por el nivel de efectividad de las estrategias de afrontamiento empleadas para hacerle frente al cáncer de mama presente en mujeres diagnosticadas en Colombia durante los últimos tres años, para lo cual, identifican las estrategias de afrontamiento que más se utilizan para enfrentar este tipo de enfermedad crónica, así mismo se abordan de forma puntual los factores que más influyen en el desarrollo efectivo de las estrategias de afrontamiento, de igual forma se exponen las principales incidencias que se han gestado en torno al escenario actual en relación a la evolución de los casos de mujeres diagnosticadas con cáncer de mama. La metodología que guio el desarrollo de la investigación es exploratoria, indagandose sobre aspectos que son de importancia para el desarrollo de estrategias de afrontamiento que contribuyen a mitigar el impacto causado por el cáncer de seno presente en mujeres diagnosticadas en Colombia, fundamentándose como cualitativa, para lo cual se realiza una revisión bibliográfica en bases de datos tales como: Redalyc, Dialnet, Scielo. La prevalencia e incidencia del cáncer de mama que afecta a las mujeres en Colombia ha tendido a incrementarse el número de casos y la tasa de morbilidad. Entre las estrategias de afrontamiento que más efectividad ha causado en las pacientes se ha establecido que son las que abordan las concepciones de índole religioso. Por otra parte, uno de los factores que más afectan a este tipo de pacientes ha sido la falta de garantías en el sistema de salud en el que aún no se terminan de adoptar un marco legal más efectivo que garantice la atención a esta población. ha De hecho, la tasa de incidencia hacia 2018 se situó en 63,9 casos por cada 100.000 personas. Finalmente, se concluye que se requiere aunar esfuerzos en pro de promover una atención más integra que garantice una mayor cobertura frente a la alta demanda de casos que se vienen diagnosticando periodo tras periodo.
