Evaluación formativa y análisis del error como instrumentos aliados que propicien mejorar la gramática de presente simple

Abstract

The present research study, conducted in students in their third semester of Basic Education Degree with an Emphasis in Foreign Languages from the “Unidad Central del Valle”, which is located in Tuluá – Valle del Cauca city, had as its main purpose to overcome the grammar mistakes that the population made when writing simple present tense. In order to do so, some strategies belonging to formative assessment and the error analysis were taken into account for the purpose of designing educational interventions, that is to say, spaces devoted to work in the overcoming of such mistakes. On one the hand, on the gathering information of this research project a diagnosis test was implemented at the beginning and at the end of the interventions, as well as a result evaluation grid to compile the data to make it easier for the researchers to do the error analysis, and evaluative activities at the end of each intervention; as an strategy for formative assessment, such evaluative activities measured the learning process of the population and enabled the improvement of the mistakes they showed in the themes addressed. On the other hand, a key factor to consider about this research is that its implementation offered both students and researchers the opportunity to deepen the teaching-learning of the simple present tense since both parties could be aware of the weak aspects, the aims to be achieved and the way in which teaching and assessment assignments were carried out, all of this, through the error analysis and the formative assessment which showed the results that enabled the researchers to give the appropriate feedback for each intervention

El presente estudio investigativo llevado a cabo en estudiantes de III semestre de Licenciatura en Educación Básica con Énfasis en Lenguas Extranjeras de la Unidad Central del Valle que se encuentra localizada en la ciudad de Tuluá – Valle del Cauca, tuvo como propósito central la superación de los errores gramaticales escritos que fueron cometidos en el tiempo presente simple por parte de la población objeto de estudio. Para ello se tuvieron en cuenta estrategias pertenecientes a la evaluación formativa y al análisis del error con el fin de diseñar intervenciones (Ver del Anexo A. al Anexo E.) de tipo didáctico, es decir, espacios dedicados a trabajar en la superación de dichos errores. Por su parte, para la recolección de la información del proyecto investigativo, se implementó un test al inicio y al final de las intervenciones, una rejilla para plasmar en ella los datos que facilitan a los investigadores el análisis de los errores y actividades evaluativas al final de cada intervención, dichas actividades permitieron medir el proceso de aprendizaje de la población objeto de estudio y superar los errores que presentaron en la temática abordada. Por otra parte, un aspecto a resaltar sobre el presente estudio investigativo es que la implementación del mismo brindó tanto a los estudiantes como a los investigadores la oportunidad de profundizar en la enseñanza-aprendizaje del presente simple ya que ambas partes pudieron conocer en qué aspectos existían debilidades, los objetivos por alcanzar y la manera en la cual se llevarían a cabo las tareas de enseñanza y las tareas evaluativas, todo esto a través del análisis del error y la evaluación formativa, la cual arrojó resultados que permitieron realizar la retroalimentación apropiada para cada intervención.
