Pedagogical orientation guide design for the Conversation Club teaching process at the Departamento de Idiomas of Unidad Central del Valle del Cauca based on teachers’ conceptions

| dc.description.abstract | El Club de Conversación es un espacio creado por el Departamento de Idiomas para el fortalecimiento de las competencias comunicativas de los estudiantes en una lengua extranjera. En ese sentido, esta investigación buscó proponer una guía de orientación pedagógica basada en las concepciones de los profesores sobre su práctica, siendo un estudio de caso con un alcance propositivo. En primer lugar, se describen los procesos de enseñanza sugeridos por el Departamento de Idiomas en su Documento Maestro. Posteriormente, se hizo una división de categorías y subcategorías para la creación de la entrevista estructurada aplicada a una muestra de 5 profesores para analizar sus concepciones en comparación a lo establecido por el Documento Maestro. Los resultados de este análisis mostraron que, a pesar de haber algunas relaciones entre lo establecido por ambas partes, aún hay aspectos entre el documento oficial y las concepciones de los profesores sobre el proceso de enseñanza y desarrollo de estos espacios que no tienen concordancia. Finalmente, tras la discusión de resultados, teorías, y antecedentes tomados en esta investigación, se concluye que existen brechas, falta de información, coherencia e incluso ambigüedades en aspectos importantes para desarrollar un Club de Conversación de manera efectiva. Es por esta razón que se creó la guía de orientación pedagógica, con el fin de orientar, aclarar y sugerir procedimientos para llevar a cabo en el desarrollo del Club de Conversación. | spa |
